Stay Tax:

We are required by French law to collect stay tax (taxe de séjour). This is payable for 2026 at a rate of €2.16 per person per night for all adults over 18. It is due for payment with the final balance, 8 weeks before your stay.

Booking Notes:

At the time of booking you will be asked for 25% of the rental fee. Eight weeks before your stay the remainder of the rent will be due together with the stay tax and the £500 against loss or damage. Should no loss or damage occur, this amount will be returned. If you cancel more than 8 weeks before your visit the booking fee will be retained as cancellation fee unless we are able to relet the property. If you cancel less than 8 weeks before your visit, any rental paid will be retained unless the property is relet.

Changeover Day:

Changeover day is Saturday. Outgoing guests are asked to leave the property no later than 09.30. Incoming guests should not arrive before 16.00 please. This will allow time to clean the house and prepare for new guests. Your co-operation is appreciated.

Notes on prices:

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds but we are also happy to accept payments in euros. Please contact us for prices if you would prefer to pay in euros. Should you wish to rent the house outside the dates listed, we will be happy to discuss this with you with a view to agreeing a reasonable rental price.
