Notes

The house and garden are ideal for family holidays. There are two wood-burning stoves in case of Spring/Autumn chilly evenings - one in the original inglenook fireplace in the dining area, the other in the living room. The large living room has a 40" HD satellite TV with access to Netflix, Youtube and Spotify and a DVD/Blu-ray player. The kitchen dining area has ipod/iphone/ipad speakers (please bring your own USB cables). There are plenty of board games for guests to play.

Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, large clothes horse. Rotary line in garden. Cleaning/Towels/Linen: Towels and bedlinen are included but not beach towels. The house is cleaned and towels/linen changed at changeover. House management team visits once or twice during your stay to mow lawn, clean pool and ensure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay.

If all you want to do is sit in the sunshine and let the world pass you by, please help yourself to one of the many good reads in the bookcase in the study area, drink in the views and enjoy the total peace and quiet. Every effort has been made to make this feel like a home.

Outside: The south facing garden, which is private and not overlooked, is 3/4 of an acre and mostly laid to lawn with mature trees and shrubs. The 12m private pool, with alarm, is at the bottom of the garden. It has steps that lead into it and a shallow end for children and a shallow slope round the edge of the pool. There are 6 sun-loungers pool side. The terrace runs around the house with a covered area for eating outside (seating for 10) and a smaller covered terrace. There is also a barbecue for guests to use as they wish. The house stands on its own on a no through lane with just two other houses so parents and children can safely enjoy plenty of privacy and peace and quiet.

Visit the local vineyards of Madiran, Côtes de Gascogne, Gers and Jurançon or the producers of Armagnac and soak up the atmosphere in the many local markets. Walk, cycle, swim, horseride or just relax and unwind. With easy access to the Atlantic coast and the mountains and villages of the Pyrénées. Fly via Pau, Biarritz, Lourdes, Toulouse and Bergerac. Nearest shops, café/bar and restaurant 3km.
